A new 15% tariff on Chinese imports will go in effect just after midnight Sunday, placing levies on hundreds of household goods and consumer tech, including a bevy of Apple  products. India’s retaliatory tariffs on 28 US products comes into effect

New Delhi: India has raised tariffs on 28 items exported from the US with effect from Sunday in retaliation to America’s withdrawal of preferential access for Indian products from 5 June. China tariffs list includes 194 pages of products as trade war escalates

The Trump administration and the Chinese government are engaged in an escalating tit-for-tat tariff war, and consumers are getting stuck in the middle. China said Monday that it is raising tariffs on $60 billion of U.S. goodsin retaliation for Trump doubling duties on $200 billion of Chinese imports.
