A recall warning has been issued for bitter raw apricot seeds and apricot seed meal from the brand Apricot Power due to concerns over cyanide poisoning. Ecoideas Innovations Inc., a Canadian natural health product retailer, issued the recall on June 1 because their Apricot Power brand of Bitter Raw Apricot Seeds and Apricot Seed Meal contain a natural toxin called amygdalin. Oil prices declined on Friday, with Brent slipping from the $70 mark reached the previous day, but both main contracts were set for weekly gains on mounting geopolitical risks.
