Warangal: The School of Distance Learning and Continuing Education (SDLCE), Kakatiya University (KU), campus was abuzz with a large number of students on Monday. The students enthusiastically took part in the Haritha Haram programme, a flagship programme of the State government to increase the forest cover in the State to 33 per cent. Leading them was SDLCE Director Prof Guguloth Veeranna. The onus is on everyone to conserve the environment, Prof Veeranna said. Rajasthan Moves To Strike Out BJP Influence On School Syllabus

  The new government in Rajasthan had its first cabinet meeting today where revision of certain textbooks and syllabus was discussed among other issues. The government will try to undo what the “saffronisation of education”, the education minister said.
